I graduated from school in June 09 and moved back to San Diego to live with my mom until Sam was to return from Iraq. I got a job working at a hollistic health spa in desert hot springs a short 30 minute drive from where we were stationed in 29 Palms, Ca. Needless to say that job didn't last and I quit two months after I started.
Sam returned from his 2nd tour in Iraq on August 3rd and a little over a month later we found out we were expecting our first baby! I was enrolled in a Master in Education program and things were really starting to fall into place....that was until mid October when Sam received orders to Quantico, Virginia.
As the months went by leading up to our departure we spent quality time with family, Sam was promoted to Sgt, we found out we were having a GIRL and my family threw us an awesome baby shower. February 9th, with my car in tow, we set out on the cross country journey to our new home of Virginia.
We've been here 2 months now and we are loving the change. We've made great friends and there is so much to do and explore here. We can't wait till our little girl comes into the world to join the fun!
